The Man from Northumbia University
On Friday 14 a man from Northumbia University, called Oli, came to speak to the 6th Form about learning to succeed. His enthusiasm was inspirational as he was joking around but highlighting the important message of be yourself and you will be happy. He also emphasised the importance of celebrating achievements, small as they may be, and making goals with a time frame, to make them more attainable.
He also discussed personal and educational goals demonstrating the impact positive thinking. The year groups both thoroughly enjoyed the unique and engaging presentation and I think, if we have taken one thing away from it, it would be to reward yourself for even the smallest things because it is a step in the right direction.
