Difficult Decisions

On Wednesday 30 January the Upper Sixes faced some surprisingly tough decisions - having to pick the hymns we wanted for Speech Day, the end of Spring Term and our final assembly at the end of the year. After singing some of our favourite hymns, we decided not to embarrass ourselves in St Mary's Cathedral with a terrible rendition of 'From the tiny ant', so we chose 'I Vow To Thee My Country' for our Speech Day hymn.

'Lord of the Dance' will be sung at the last assembly before Easter, and 'Amazing Grace' will be our final song before leaving school for good. No doubt it will be a sob fest for all of our year, however we can’t wait to see Mr Ashmore’s face when we finally sing louder than him!
