Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
On Wednesday 5 September, ten St George’s girls from the class of 2017 came to speak to the Upper 6 in their Development Programme session. They were full of advice about university, gap years and work as they had all chosen different paths for after their school career.
The diverse experiences they have had allowed us to learn from them and their mistakes, like over packing for university! They also reassured us about leaving school and embracing our future opportunities.
The most important lessons we took from this were: be confident, do not be pressured or influenced by others and make an effort to meet new people to make new friends.
