Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
P6 have been learning about the human body. As part of the topic, we each had to research an organ of the human body and then give a talk to the rest of the class. We discovered there are a lot of different organs to choose from!
We had to find out what system it was part of, what it does and things that can go wrong if it doesn’t work. Lots of people made models and did demonstrations. One of the funniest ones was Beth’s demonstration of the bladder. She used a water balloon and it popped and everything on the table got soaked! The heart and brain seemed to be the most popular organs to talk about.
We learnt a lot about the human body and also about how to deliver an engaging and interesting talk.
