Superleague Netball

Due to the successful netball season with Lower 5 girls, Netball Scotland rewarded St George’s with tickets to see Scotland’s only semi-professional team, Sirens. This was a fantastic experience with first class seats in the Emirates Arena watching the Sirens take on Severn Stars from Worcester, England. The speed of the game and the tactical play was very impressive. Our girls were involved in the build-up of the game through Netball Scotland and Sirens social media, as well as three girls, Emma, Annabelle and Georgie leading the Sirens team out onto court and meeting the players and captain, Claire Brownie at the end of the game. To top off a super evening, the Sirens won 59-45!
