Mrs Linda Aslet – Piano

Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music 1969
Bachelor of Music (Honours) University of Birmingham 1973
PGCE (Music and English) University of Birmingham 1974

Linda began her teaching career in Dudley, West Midlands which culminated in full-time teaching as Head of Music at Collingwood School in Camberley, Surrey in 1983.  A radical career change came with a move to New York where she began office life as a receptionist in a small public relations firm and rose through the ranks to vice-president of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in Texas. Moving back to the UK in 1993, Linda reverted to her first love, music, and has been teaching piano full-time at George Watson’s College and at St George’s since 2007, in addition to a private practice.  She thoroughly relishes seeing students progress from first steps in the Junior School to their performance as accomplished musicians at the end of their school careers, including the myriad of stages in between!Back Button3
