Nursery Childcare and Wraparound Care

We offer flexible wraparound care for all Nursery and Junior School pupils, with places guaranteed for every child. Sessions can be booked weekly or termly to suit your family’s needs.

Breakfast Club - Early Birds (7.45–8.30 am)
If you need an earlier start to the day, our Breakfast Club service provides supervised care and a healthy breakfast at the St George’s Centre or Nursery, depending on the age of your child.

Nursery+ and After-School Care (3.00–6.00 pm)
Available from Nursery to Primary 5, our Nursery+ and after‑school programme offers a variety of session lengths to support different finishing times and co-curricular activities.

Nursery Wraparound Options
For children aged 3 and over, we offer both sessional pricing and a full Nursery wraparound package that covers term‑time provision and Holiday Club. Full details can be found in our nursery fees.

For 2-Year-Olds
For our 2‑year‑old offering, fees include care from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm as standard, so no additional wraparound charges apply at this stage. When your child progresses into the 3+ Little Dragons Nursery stage, they will then move onto our standard wraparound system with the option to book Breakfast Club and Nursery+ sessions as needed.

School holiday club

If you are in need of school holiday clubs or summer camps to keep your young child safe, stimulated and educated out of regular term times, St George’s holiday club is here to support you.

Holiday club at St George’s, led by our outstanding staff, includes trips to places such as the Botanical Gardens, the beaches of Edinburgh and the galleries in town, as well as fun-packed days adventuring on site. Little explorers can have a magical holiday experience with their buddies right here in EH12! Each day varies as much as each week, with children enjoying the fun of sun and water on the beach in the morning and then learning about butterflies and bugs in the Fantastic Forest in the afternoon. Each week includes a range of themed activities to expand children’s knowledge and unleash their imagination.

Our school holiday club is open during school holidays, except Christmas, from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. It's available for Nursery and Junior School children, with organised activities and trips. Charges apply per 5-hour session, with a 10% discount if all sessions are booked.

We also offer sports activity camps during most holidays.
