Art and Design Techology
The Faculty of Art and Creative Technologies is particularly strong at St George's. Focusing on the individual we encourage our students to produce work that is diverse, ambitious, and above all personal.
The standard of work our students produce throughout the faculty is exceptionally high, which can be seen in our annual end-of-year exhibition, examination results, and impressive record of our students’ progression to some of the most prestigious art, design and technology-based courses at university and college in both the UK and abroad.
Facilities and resources
The Art Department is set in its own building and is a dynamic hub of activity throughout and beyond the school day where students are encouraged to become self-motivated and independent learners.
A brand-new Design and Innovation Suite for Creative Technologies is opening in 2023.

the faculty, students have access to printmaking, ceramics/clay, 3D
