St George’s School resides in a spacious, tranquil and safe environment in Edinburgh’s West End. It is set in 15 acres of landscaped parkland in Murrayfield, one of Edinburgh's popular, leafy residential suburbs. Our buildings combine traditional and modern design to support a dynamic, innovative and high-quality learning environment for our whole community.
The campus and grounds offer a variety of facilities and venues available to hire and lend themselves to a multitude of different uses, both large and small, from sports camps, functions, weddings, charity events, residential courses, rehearsal spaces, holiday camps, and children’s parties.
Superfast WIFI is available throughout the campus. In-house catering is available on request.
The school is easily accessible by all major transport links being only 1 mile from the city centre and Waverley and Haymarket Train stations. It is a 15 minutes drive to Edinburgh International airport and there is a tram connection from Haymarket Station to Edinburgh Airport. Free parking facilities are available on-site as well as on the roads adjacent to the school grounds.

Supporting the Community
As a school, we are committed to widening the range of services we offer which are of benefit to the local community and wider society in general.
Every year the school’s facilities are used by different community organisations at a reduced cost or free of charge. For example, young people from across the Lothian area rehearse with the National Youth Choir of Scotland two nights a week, and a range of local sports clubs, as well as sporting and cultural bodies, use our facilities on a weekly basis.
We look forward to continuing to expand the school’s commitment within our community.
