P3 and P4 Girls Learn to Lead with Miss-Hits

Recently some girls in Primary 3 and 4 were super lucky to take part in the Learn to Lead with Miss-Hits project! It was so much fun, and we learned loads about tennis, teamwork and being leaders. We didn’t really know what to expect at first, but it turned out to be one of the best things we’ve ever done.
One of the best parts was getting to meet other children from different groups. We made new friends and worked together to play games and try out tennis skills. Everyone was kind and helped each other, even if we didn’t know them before.
We also got to watch the older girls lead the sessions. They were confident and fun, and they knew how to explain things really well. They made it look easy – and now we think it would be so cool to do that ourselves one day when we’re older! It made us feel excited about maybe being leaders in the future.
The most exciting moment was meeting Judy Murray. She was so nice and friendly, and she taught us lots of clever things. We learned how to work as a team, how to listen, how to help others and how to show confidence, even if we were a bit nervous. It wasn’t just about hitting the ball – it was about being a good sport and helping others have fun too.

And guess what – we all got goodie bags at the end! We loved every minute of it. Thank you, Miss-Hits and Judy Murray – we can’t wait to be leaders too one day.
