Remove Project Fair – A Celebration of Curiosity and Creativity

We were recently delighted to be able to welcome families to the Junior School Hall for the Remove Project Fair — a celebration of the hard work, imagination, and independence shown by our Remove students in completing their Independent Project Qualification (IPQ).
Over the course of the year, each student explored a topic of personal interest, developing their ideas through in-depth research and thoughtful planning. Their projects culminated in a wide range of impressive outcomes, including written reports and creative artefacts. The ambition and variety of topics was striking — from the reconstruction of the organ at Notre-Dame Cathedral to an exploration of the addictive nature of Roblox. Displays ranged from papier-mâché planets and hand-sewn dresses to gymnastic performance videos and even Gerald the Woolly Mammoth!
The fair offered students the opportunity to share their work with parents and the wider school community, and to take pride in all they have achieved. It was a showcase of final products and of the learning journey — the questions they asked, the challenges they overcame, and the discoveries they made along the way.
Projects are now being assessed by the Independent Schools Examination Board, and students will receive their qualifications next session. The IPQ marks the beginning of our Project Pathway, which continues with the Global Perspectives course in S2, the Higher Project Qualification in S3 and S4, and ultimately the Extended Project Qualification in Sixth Form. Through this pathway, students are encouraged to pursue their passions while developing valuable skills in research, critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.
Thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us — your support makes these moments all the more meaningful.
