Mrs Shona Thomson, Council Member, St George's School, Edinburgh

Shona joined the Council in 2018 and is a former pupil of St. George’s. She is a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and the Property Committee. She is also a member of the OGA.

She studied maths at Durham University and went on to work in the commercial sector in London before returning to Edinburgh to work as a Finance & HR Director in the Charity Sector. She is passionate about young girls’ education, and has two young girls.

She enjoys playing golf, skiing, and spending time with her family and dog.
