A Diverse and Exciting Term in Middle School
This term in Middle School has been a vibrant celebration of our community, where confidence has flourished through opportunities such as the Performers’ Platform, the joyful P6 and Remove Burns’ Event, and our inaugural Dragons’ Day, where our girls worked collaboratively with visiting students to restore balance to the lost realm of Draymor, developing creativity, resilience, and belief in their own ideas. Leadership has also shone, with our S1 House Captains successfully planning and delivering a House event for their peers, demonstrating initiative and teamwork.
Alongside this, girls have engaged with a rich and diverse programme—from inspiring author visits, to sports fixtures, World Book Day activities with Merchiston Castle School, Culture Day, Neurodiversity Celebration Day, and the launch of our empowerment group. Our annual Connected Culture, designed to equip the girls with confidence and competence with technology, focused on communicating online, algorithms, settings and privacy and AI. Through every experience, our girls continue to grow in confidence, compassion, and a strong sense of belonging.
