Author Visit: Janis Mackay

Recently Janis Mackay, an award winning author from Edinburgh, visited the Junior School.

She read and sang with our students from her "Magnus and the Fin" series and "The Fairy Song". She also did creative writing with our P3-P5 students. They created a story about a creature that was half human and half something else (tree, horse, etc). Fantastic stories coming from our older students.

We were grateful for Janis's visit as the children really enjoyed learning more about her, her books and entering into her imaginative world.
