Building Confidence, Curiosity and Community Through Fearless Fridays
At St George’s, we believe some of the most powerful learning happens when girls are given the opportunity to explore new ideas, discover hidden talents and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Our Fearless Friday’s programme for girls from P5-7 has become an exciting part of this vision, welcoming girls from across the local community to take part in inspiring workshops designed to spark creativity, confidence and curiosity.

From coding robots and exploring AI in sport, to animation, art, global challenges and hands-on creative projects, Fearless Fridays encourages girls to step outside their comfort zones, try something new and develop skills that will support them both in school and beyond.
At the heart of Fearless Fridays is the belief that girls thrive when they feel confident to explore, create and challenge themselves without pressure. The programme nurtures curiosity, collaboration and resilience, while helping pupils discover new passions, form friendships and grow in confidence beyond the classroom.
What makes the programme particularly special is the atmosphere created during these afternoons. Girls from different schools come together, friendships are formed quickly, and there is a genuine sense of encouragement, collaboration and fun. Whether pupils are discovering a love of technology, developing techniques and skills in art, building leadership skills or simply gaining confidence in sharing ideas, the impact of these sessions continues long after the workshops end.
These sessions are designed not only to inspire young learners, but also to give families a meaningful insight into the vibrant opportunities available at St George’s. Visitors quickly experience the school’s strong sense of community, its nurturing atmosphere and its commitment to helping every girl flourish both academically and personally.
