Fearless Women in Computing 2025 - Sponsor and speakers announced
We are delighted to announce that Skyscanner is partnering with us to sponsor Fearless Women in Computing on Tuesday, 11 November - a day dedicated to empowering girls and tackling the gender gap in technology
Skyscanner is one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2025. It’s commitment to diversity includes ambitious targets for women in leadership and tech roles, inclusive recruitment practices, and partnerships with Code First Girls to provide tech education and mentorship. Their support for Fearless Women in Computing helps us to make this event accessible to all by providing travel for pupils from local schools, ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to take part in this unique experience.
This year’s programme includes robotics demonstrations, interactive workshops, and keynote talks for pupils from P6 to S6, creating an exciting opportunity to explore computing in action. From morning rotations for younger pupils to an afternoon senior session featuring industry leaders, the event is designed to inspire and connect the next generation of innovators. This year’s programme features two exceptional speakers:
Dr Giulia De Togni, Chancellor’s Fellow and Turing Fellow, whose research focuses on the ethics and governance of AI and robotics in health and social care. Giulia’s work spans Japan, France, Italy, and the UK, and she is committed to designing equitable, human-centred technologies.

Angeley Mullins, Founder & CEO of Aetheris Ventures and former Amazon leader, recognised by Crunchbase as one of the most influential women in sales. Angeley has led global commercial teams and now champions women in leadership and technology entrepreneurship.
With 25 companies and 80 industry guests, and girls visiting from schools across Scotland, the event promises to be a vibrant hub of innovation and collaboration.

We proudly partner with Toni Scullion, founder of dressCode and Computing Science Scotland, who has been instrumental in shaping this event since its inception. Her advocacy for closing the tech gender gap has helped establish Fearless Women in Computing as Scotland’s flagship event for inspiring young girls into tech.
Follow our updates on social media and join us in celebrating fearless women who are shaping the future of computing.
