Celebrating the Mois de la Francophonie: S2 Class Earns Runner-Up at French Competition
As part of this year’s Mois de la Francophonie celebrations, an S2 class took part in an inspiring French-language competition centred on the 2026 theme: “Building Connections.” The challenge invited young people to reflect on the importance of social bonds and relationships, encouraging thoughtful and creative responses.
Students rose to the challenge with imagination and insight. Their submission proposed solutions aligned with the theme, accompanied by a video presentation in French that conveyed their ideas.Their efforts were recognised with an impressive runner-up placement. The class was awarded a selection of prizes, presented by Charlotte Hyvernaud, Director of Studies at the French Institute of Scotland on Thursday 30 April.
