Independent Women (IW), the student-led magazine, launches its 2026 issue

St George's student magazine has been an integral part of school life since 1895 and enables students a platform to speak to the issues that they are passionate about. Their outlook is varied and thoughtful, including a range of topics from the excitement of the school production, the impact of AI on the creative arts, to the role of Vinted in sustainable shopping. 

The team of twenty, ranging from S2-S6, is led by U6 Editor CJ and Mrs Magee of St George's English Department. The weekly lunchtime club offers workshop opportunities and a chance to write, discuss and debate, with the culmination of the year's work in the printed issue - now on sale at the School for £2.50! Well done to all involved for your hard work since September, we look forward to next year's edition!
