P6 Explore Life Cycles at Edinburgh Zoo

Recently, Primary 6 went to Edinburgh Zoo on a trip about the cycle of life and how animals' mate and give birth. 

When we first came in our tour guide Blair took us to see the rarest animal in the Zoo; the Socorro Dove which is extinct in the wild and there are only about 150 in zoos. We then went to see the rhinos and penguins. After that we went to the education centre to learn about how animals go through puberty and mate. Then we split into smaller groups and explored the rest of the zoo. 

We all found it really fun and would love to go back!
