Shepley Imlah Archives Officially Opens at Old Girls' Summer Lunch

One of the highlights of our Old Girls' Summer Lunch on Saturday 14 June was the official opening of the newly refurbished Shepley Imlah Archives. Nigel Shepley had the honour of cutting the ribbon to declare the Archive open, with Margaret Imlah noting, "It was rather like he had never actually left St G's he has done so much to shape the Archive."
The new space proved to be an absolute treasure for visitors during the guided school tours, offering a fascinating glimpse into our rich heritage and providing an opportunity for Old Girls to discover pieces of school history. Margaret Imlah was delighted to meet so many who have contributed to the Archive and continues to encourage donations, ensuring our school's history is preserved for future generations.
The lunch brought together over 60 Old Girls ranging from age 19 to 93, creating a wonderful celebration of the lifelong bonds that define the St G's family.
