Walk to School Week
Our Junior School and nursery pupils took part in Walk to School week from the 15th of May – 19th May. At assembly on Friday 12th May, the JRSO presented information based on Walk to School Week 2023. The theme this year was Walk with Wildlife.
Every day had a different focus:
Monday - We walk for INCLUSION.
Tuesday - We walk for SUSTAINABILITY.
Wednesday - We walk for HEALTH.
Thursday - We walk for MINDFULNESS.
Friday - We walk for FRIENDSHIP.
Every class had a Walk to School Week Classroom Travel Diary to complete daily. The winner of the Classroom Travel Diary received the Walk to School Week Golden Trainer Award.
We hope that everyone enjoyed Walk to School Week and continues to make an effort to walk, cycle, scoot or Park and Stride.
