"The supportive environment at St George’s has given me numerous opportunities to grow both academically and personally. I’ve been involved in the Language Leaders programme for the past two years and recently organised the Language Winter Fair – an experience that’s helped me develop my organisation and leadership skills. I’ve also played netball and participated in Miseducation, a student-run group that focuses on education topics. School trips have been another enriching part of my time here, especially the biology field trip to Millport and the Spanish trip which helped immerse me in the language and culture. Looking ahead, I’m excited to study biology at university. Although it’s a challenging subject, I feel well-prepared thanks to the combination of academic rigour, leadership opportunities, and personal growth at St George’s. I now plan to pursue a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh or the University of Glasgow, as both have excellent programmes and research opportunities. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge and gaining hands-on experience.” [167w]
