"I’ve had an incredible journey at St George’s. My love for maths began early and has deepened through the many opportunities here, including participation in the annual Scottish Maths Challenge and Physics Olympiads (a timed exam that tests knowledge). These formative experiences encouraged me to explore new ways of thinking. Beyond academics, I’ve been actively involved in various leadership roles such as Smarties Club for Lower School students, where we engage in weekly problem-solving games and support maths homework and revision. I’ve also taken part in Young STEM Leaders which has honed my public speaking skills while helping inspire younger pupils. Now I hope to study maths and statistics at university – so I’ll always be grateful for the support from my teachers, especially during the university application process. This close-knit, all-girls environment has allowed me to thrive and pursue subjects like computer science without hesitation.”
