"My passion lies in engineering – specifically mechanical and automotive engineering – because I love understanding how things work. Maths, physics, and mechanics have been the foundation of my academic studies at St George’s, sparking my curiosity. One of my most exciting projects was helping to set up the F1 in Schools initiative as well as seeing our team progress to the national level. I’ve also been a Young STEM Leader, where I’ve led sessions on STEM-related topics, delivered presentations, and organised events like the recent Aerospace Careers Day. Outside the classroom, I’ve been head editor of the school’s ‘Independent Women’ magazine – our main achievement was to publish the first issue for five years and rebuild the brand. Balancing my editorial responsibilities with STEM studies has helped me develop a diverse skill set. I’m hoping to study Mechanical Engineering at Lancaster University.”
