"My move from London was a big change, but the welcoming and relaxed environment here made it so much easier. Compared to my previous school, St George’s felt less intense and more supportive with a great balance between academics and sports, which helps manage stress. I also prefer the Scottish educational system for its broader choice of subjects and increased flexibility in study levels. Meanwhile, the Nepal trip was one of my defining school experiences – especially learning firsthand about conservation efforts through visiting the WWF base in Kathmandu and meeting a snow leopard conservation expert. It was this inspiring experience that solidified my interest in biology – so now I’m doing my EPQ on snow leopard conservation and preparing a TEDx talk on this subject. St George’s has given me opportunities to pursue my interests and build skills. Looking ahead, I’m excited to study biology and continue exploring conservation. The academic opportunities and real-world experiences here have prepared me for this next step, and I can’t wait to see where it leads…"
