"My St George’s experience has been filled with incredible opportunities that have shaped my educational journey. One of the most pivotal moments was becoming an Arkwright Scholar and I was fortunate to be selected as an Amazon Future Engineer. As part of this scholarship, I received mentorship and funding throughout my Advanced Higher years, including during my EPQ on the integration of AI and machine learning in cancer diagnosis and pathology. This exciting EPQ has allowed me to blend my interests in medicine and technology and gain insights into cutting-edge research. Meanwhile, MedSoc, choir, netball and DoE have all played a big part in my school life. Another memorable experience was the Nepal trip – a varied and enriching adventure: from exploring Kathmandu to volunteering at an elephant charity focused on animal welfare. Now I hope to study medicine at university, with offers from Edinburgh and Dundee among my top choices.”
