“I’ve had such fun playing team sports at St George’s and the sports department here have been brilliant. The school has also been really supportive of my outside sporting commitments, especially playing cricket for Scotland. I played my first Under 17 Scotland game when I was 14, then in the first-ever Under 19 World Cup after we beat Holland in the qualifiers. The World Cup was held in South Africa in January 2023 – an amazing experience which I’ll never forget. My most memorable moment came while batting in the last over against the USA: the match was really close and we needed four runs with only three balls remaining. I managed to hit a boundary for four to score the winning runs, securing Scotland’s first-ever win in a women’s cricket world cup.”
