Soap making was fun and messy, and we really enjoyed it. We had to put 100g of plain hot process soap into a microwavable jug. Then we had to heat it up, stirring every ten seconds. Once the soap had liquified we quickly applied coloured dyes and scented oils to the jug, mixing it carefully.
Once all the ingredients had been mixed together, we gently poured it into shaped casts of our choice. As the soap hardened, we relaxed whilst having some hot beverages and sugary delights.
After our break we returned to our creations and started to wrap them. As we left we also had a look in the gift shop, where some of us bought jewellery and other trinkets.
