Blogs and News - St George's School, Edinburgh
The Lower school gardening club has recently been awarded their RHS School Gardening Awards Level 1 and 2 and we are currently working towards Level 3. The gardening group meets every Wednesday lunchtime and we have been busy planting seeds into our vegetable patch, herb garden and greenhouse.
We are also keen to attract more bees back to the garden area so we will be planting wildflowers soon.
Our garden is already in full bloom with the daffodils we planted in February, and we are looking forward to it filling up with colour as we move into the warmer months. We are very proud that we are taking part in the RHS School Gardening Awards as it gives us something to work towards, all while developing our garden into a nice space.
