The nursery held their annual Daffodil Breakfast in support of the Marie Curie cancer charity. All the nursery children participated and had learned lots of songs with our music teacher, Mrs Coad, to perform for their parents and grandparents. We were joined for a short time by the Primary 1 children who had prepared a song to sing to everyone. The children dressed in their finest spring clothes and had made Easter crowns and daffodils which made for a very pleasing sight. Mrs Nettleton read a story about ‘Percy the Dancing Polar Bear’ and the Big Owls had prepared some musical percussion accompaniment.
Our catering team provided a wonderful breakfast for all of our visitors. We raised lots of money for the Marie Curie charity – many thanks to those who supported us in our efforts to raise funds for this worthwhile cause.
The nursery team hopes that everyone enjoys their Easter holidays and we look forward to seeing the children once more in the summer term.
