Primary 4 Visit the MC Escher Exhibition

The Primary 4s visited the wonderful MC Escher exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art II on Thursday. Miss Knox had arranged for P4X and P4Y to be hosted by Emily and Duncan, from the Gallery, who took the girls on a tour of Escher's most famous works and described the history of Escher's work and the efforts he went through to produce his final prints. The girls particularly loved "Metamorphosis" and the Escher Maze in front of the gallery!

St George's Sixth Form students are highly successful in securing competitive places on an impressive variety of courses at a wide range of leading universities, including the Russell Group and Oxbridge. Many of this year’s leavers have gained their places to study a range of subjects including Business, Chemistry, English, History, Law, and Medicine.
