Scottish Cup Netball

It has been an action packed week of netball;

On Monday our Lower 4 and Upper 4 girls played James Gillespie's in a friendly, and thoroughly enjoyed playing a festival of matches. Both year groups won and seemed to enjoy the opportunity to play competitively.

On Tuesday our Lower 4 girls were in action again in the Scottish Cup against Broughton High School. It was a fast moving game with lots of good shooting on display. Broughton High School fought back towards the end but St George's managed to secure the 19-12 win. They will now progress into the gold section of the Cup in the next round after winning both their games so far.

On Wednesday our senior girls travelled to Armadale Academy to play the last game in their Scottish Cup section. The girls were determined to win this one after narrowly missing out in their last game against The Royal High School. From the very start St George's dominated and played some fast flowing netball. With a final score of 42-12, the girls should feel confident moving into the silver section of the Cup.
