I run for Lothian Running Club. On the 6 January we did the Scottish indoor league at the Emirates Stadium in Glasgow. There were a few of us from the club doing various events.
I did the 60m, long jump and the 200m all in the Under 15 category. In the 60m I came 1st. I did it in 8.83 which is a personal best (PB) for me! Then I did my long jump but didn’t have a good practice jump but I managed to come back from that: 1st jump 4:16; 2nd jump 4:21; and 3rd jump 4:29. Unfortunately no PB this time but long jump is not my strongest event so 4:29 was not too bad. I never practise that event but suppose I should. Then after that I did the 200m. I didn’t feel that I ran very well, but surprisingly I got 29.54 which is a PB!
After a long day of running it finished at 6:30pm. The next one is on the 27th of January and I will definitely be at that one and perhaps even practise before it.
