Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
St George's received recognition for gaining re-accreditation for its third International School Award from the British Council on Thursday, May 31 at Dynamic Earth. The award, coming nearly a year after gaining reaccreditation, reaffirms the School's commitment to enriching learning through international learning activities while having international education embedded in the culture of the school.
St George's has long provided a window for students to examine different cultures and countries, helping them develop as responsible global citizens and preparing them for life and work in a global society. The International School Award provides a supportive and motivational framework for such activities and the School is again delighted to be recognised in this context. The awards were presented by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, MSP John Swinney.
