On Monday the Lower 5A team played Robert Gordon's College in the second round of the S3 Scottish Cup.  The girls produced a great performance to win 5-1 and advance to the quarter final.  The team started quickly and went 1-0 up thanks to a strike from the top of the 'D' by Abby.  Perdi added the second goal after some good play on the right hand side, leaving the score at 2-0 at half time.  The girls carried on in the same manner in the second half, with Ciara, Eve and Lucy all adding goals from penalty corners.  Robert Gordon's scored the last goal of the game leaving it 5-1.  Well done to both teams!

The 1st XI hockey team have enjoyed a successful start to their season. A highlight so far was beating Edinburgh Academy to progress into the next round of the Scottish Cup, in a  dramatic penalty shoot-out. Luckily the girls kept composure and took the win on the final stroke. The girls are excited for the rest of the season and are looking forward to the upcoming Holland tour.
