Pupils in Primary 6 Art Club have responded with such enthusiasm to the challenge of working with art teacher Ms Knox to create a colourful ‘Boogie Woogie’ patchwork art apron with dye techniques, embroidery and glitzy beads. This project was their imaginative response to Leith School of Art’s call to artists and students to submit an apron which reflects on their creativity.
The apron will join many art aprons in a giant collective sculpture which will be displayed at the School of Art to celebrate its influence on artists, art teachers and their pupils. P6 Art Club, be very proud and thank you for such wonderful work!
