Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
Primary 5 climbed to the Upper School Library to make observational drawings from the balcony of Edinburgh's dramatic skyline. Pupils then leapt at the chance to work together to create a skyline picture of Edinburgh exploding with Festival fireworks in response to the National Galleries of Scotland competition theme of Spark, flicker and flame.
Last year our Nursery had a winning entry by Eleanora in this prestigious Schools Art competition and this year Miss Cate has been leading wonderful creative sessions with the little ones in response to the theme of petals, leaves and bumble bees.
Good luck to all our imaginative entrants and we promise to keep you posted!
