Primary 5 Visit the Scottish Parliament

P5 went on a trip to the Scottish Parliament this week. When we got there, we had to go through security - it was just like the airport!  Luckily none of us beeped, not even the teachers. Then we went into a big classroom and learned more about the history of the Scottish Parliament. We then split into two groups and went on a tour. Our favourite part was the wall made from 100 inspiring comments about Scottish women.

We then visited the debating chamber which was amazing. The corridor on the lead up to it made you feel like you were on a boat! We finished the day with a quiz about our visit and what we had learned about the Parliament. We had a great day!
