We had Bikeability classes over two weeks with Soul Cycles for P.E. During the two weeks we had five lessons altogether in our classes. We learned how to do a bike check, a helmet check, a seat check, wheels, brakes and helmet tightness checks. We learned all the bike signals. One of them was how to look over your shoulder and ride one handed!
Last Friday, we went to Cramond for a big bike ride in our groups. We cycled three to five miles altogether along the path next to the beach. When we were half way back to the start again we went to a bike lap track where we would be able to do laps of the track. There were bumps and hills on the track. The track is open to anyone 24 hours a day! Two people did 14 laps!
This is what some people thought about the trip:
- “I really enjoyed the laps around the nature track!” - Deepti.
- “It was very good. I especially enjoyed the track. I got 14 laps on the track!” - Reene
- “I thought it was challenging but I liked it!” - Imogen
