On Thursday, the Removes had a very exciting trip to the monastery on Inchcolm Island and Blackness Castle. First, we got on the coach to the ferry and waited for the ferry to arrive at our destination - the monastery! We had a mini tour with our peers, which made it a lot more enjoyable. There was a steep and narrow set of stairs that led to different parts of the castle. There we had our lunch with a view of the sea. For our break, we got a chance to explore further into the monastery and its outskirts.
After saying goodbye, we headed back onto the ferry and another coach to the mainland to visit Blackness Castle. When we arrived at the castle, we were given a quiz to complete during our time there. It was fun as we got to travel around the castle and learn about Blackness Castle’s history. Sadly, by that time, our trip was coming to an end. We had lots of fun and enjoyed it thoroughly!
