Our first two weeks in Big Owls was full of fun moments and exciting new routines! The Big Owls learnt the preschool’s ‘Golden’ rules and got to know the different areas of their new classroom.
All together we talked about the importance of being kind to each other and shared our thoughts on how to use our kind hands and words. During this week we used our looking eyes and listening ears to read stories, play with friends, take part at Circle Time and follow instruction at PE.
Our mud kitchen chefs were on fire as they prepared a lavish muddy banquet for their friends! Carrot cakes, pancakes with worms and strawberry soups were just the starters in our muddy menu. The voices of the girls echoed in the forest where the girls had fun pretending to be their favourite animals and playing rope games.
What a great start to a year full of adventures!
