I really enjoyed being part of the European day of Languages assembly as it gave me the chance to raise awareness of how important learning languages is. This experience reminded me of how I felt when I first moved here; not being an English native speaker gave me the chance to reflect on how crucial it is to speak another language to enable us to take a step forward.
I was pleased to see how proactive my friends were when trying to learn some Italian to help us communicate with each other.
I was very keen on spreading the message to others that language barriers should be crossed. Overall, I found this experience to be very insightful.
