Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
On Tuesday 29 October, P4X went to Edinburgh Zoo to study living things and look at the variety of life. We travelled by school minibus and taxi.
We walked up the hill to the Education Centre where our teacher for the workshop was Jess. She told us about vertebrates and invertebrates. We were able to handle lots of animals from the different vertebrate groups and a favourite with the class was the three-banded armadillo! He was called Rodar and we had to guess which group he belonged.
We did not all guess it correctly, but we now know he is a mammal!
