Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
We went to Pizza Express on Thursday, 6th February. We went on the school minibuses. We learnt how to make pizzas.
To make the pizzas, we each got some dough. To make the dough, we learnt that you needed flour, water, oil, sugar and some salt. We used our palms to flatten the dough then flipped the dough from one hand to the other to take off the excess flour. We spread the tomato sauce in spirals with a spoon. We sprinkled some mozzarella cheese on. When our pizzas were ready, we put our pizzas in the oven.
We only needed 4 minutes to bake the pizzas because the oven was super-hot! We brought the pizzas back to school and had them for lunch.
It was the best lunch ever! We loved going on our trip!
