Blogs and News - St George's School, Edinburgh
Due to the unprecedented times we face, all of our pupils left school on Friday, with sad faces but equipped with a pack of home learning activities to keep them busy for the two weeks leading up to the Easter break. The teachers from each year group have been busy setting up Microsoft Teams to communicate with their pupils after the holiday, where the girls will find daily activities and lessons for them to undertake with teacher guidance and support.
Primary 3 have already started their Team and the girls are having great fun sharing their learning with their peers, receiving ideas and links from their teachers and writing comments to each other. Here are some excerpts from The Primary 3 Team:
Bess wrote some facts about the Wire-tailed manakin then sent a photo to the P3 Team. Mrs Strydom and Miss Peat particularly liked the fact about the manakin birds dance.
There was an interesting duet during piano practice!
Being stuck at home didn't stop Bess from hockey practice either!
Our teachers are looking forward to delivering the curriculum through Teams next term. Junior School girls, look out next term for exciting activities and tasks to support your home learning.
