Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
A new nursery year has started, and everyone is excited to be back! All of our Big Owls and Little Owls children have settled into the nursery routines very quickly. Already we have shared happy moments with old friends and welcomed new playmates into our St George’s family. It has been a week full of messy art activities, campfires, colourful monster creations, muddy puddles and most importantly, lots of happy smiles!
We are currently learning in small groups called bubbles to help our children return to nursery as safely as possible. We heard stories from Miss Barr our librarian and sang in the forest to the tune of Mrs Morrison’s guitar. We visited the Modern Art Gallery for a curious wander around the sculptures and looked at portraits from famous artists! We can’t wait to see what next week will bring as, here at St Georges Nursery, we learn through play and learn developing our interests!
