Blogs and News - St George's School, Edinburgh
The library staff at St George's are delighted to be back on campus and have enjoyed catching up with students and colleagues after the long-enforced break away from campus. As a result of COVID-19, there have been some changes to how each of our libraries operates but we are delighted to say that girls across St George's can now borrow books.
In the Junior School, girls in P1 - P5 can borrow one book per week from Miss Barr's specially selected Shelf Elf trolley and in LS and US girls can request books via the online library catalogue or make a request via our Book a Book form before then picking up the book from the respective library. On return, all books are then quarantined for 72 hours following Public Health Scotland guidance.
All online library services remain available including BorrowBox (access to eBooks and eAudio books) and more details of our online services can be found on the library web page St George's Library A guide to using the library catalogue and our Book a Book scheme can be found on the library YouTube channel How to guide for library catalogue
In addition, our library Twitter account @stgelibrary gives regular updates on services across all three libraries and if you have any queries on any of the library services please do email us at library@stge.org.uk.
