U6 Enrichment Programme: 26 August

We started off our first U6 Enrichment session with a talk on the responsibilities that we have as Upper Sixth this year. Most girls have a role of responsibility or leadership with a title, and all of us were reminded of the importance of setting a good example to the rest of the student body as we are now the “big girls”! We were reminded of the qualities seen in good leaders, such as integrity and the ability to communicate and delegate effectively.

Our senior prefect, Amy, then led a vote on what theme we wanted our U6 Ball to have. It was a close call between Alice in Wonderland the Great Gatsby. A mixture of joy and despair could be heard from our year when the theme was announced to be Alice in Wonderland. Whatever my peers’ opinions on the results, we are all looking forward to the Ball, whenever it may be.
