Blogs and News - St George's School For Girls, Edinburgh
As part of the P4 Outdoor Learning programme, the girls were asked to go on a Sensory Inspiration walk. Today’s activity was to use our sense of sight and to show how much we and other animals rely on sight.
Here is Katie’s report:
We went outside to find natural things in nature which were the same colour as different bits of paper that Mrs Bentley had cut up for us. Our focus was on what we could see.
I enjoyed looking for all the different colours and being with my friends in the Hub. For the red colour, we found red berries and for brown, we saw the hockey seat and some dark brown mud.
We managed to find all the colours in nature around the school grounds except for navy blue!
