The singing pupils of Miss Sahyouni were asked to choose uplifting songs to work on during the first lockdown, with some Christmas favourites added to the mix last term, with the aim of presenting a Christmas album to their parents.
Although recordings were mostly carried out in the RMC, some pupils who were self-isolating, had to email their recordings to their teacher to have them edited remotely before being added to the album.
This was an ambitious project given the uncertainty of the situation but it was very much a team effort, which proved that with determination and resourcefulness anything could be achieved. More excitingly, it has now offered an insight into many new possibilities for recording projects in the future.
